John E Ellis - Master John The journey began in 1975, in the small town of Vancouver, the State of Washington. The school was a Tracy's Kenpo Karate dojo, and the instructor's name was Sensei Jay Smith. Master John became a Black Belt in 2-1/2 years in December of 1977.

Late December of 1977 Master John started the Diamond Dragon School of Self - Defense. The school has produced over 1000 colored belts, hundreds of brown belts, 20 Black belts, and 2 Masters; Milt Guinette, and Jeff Sunderland.

During the course of the past 35 years, Master John has been promoted to Black Belt in the following Arts; 8th Black Chinese Kenpo, 7th Black Tracy's Kenpo, 5th Black Jujitsu U.S.M.A. And was inducted into the Kenpo International Hall of Fame of fame in 2007.

Master John is currently teaching Tracy's Kenpo at Club Green Meadows in Vancouver, Washington.
